Her Health Summit is proud to honor Jan Savarick with the Living Legend Award, recognizing a lifetime of extraordinary leadership, service, and impact across South Florida and beyond.
Jan Savarick’s journey of service began as a teenager volunteering at Shriners Hospital in her hometown of Chicago. That formative experience ignited a lifelong commitment to helping others, shaping more than 35 years of influential community leadership.
A respected force in strategic development and philanthropy, Jan brings over four decades of expertise in marketing, fundraising, media relations, and organizational leadership. Her work has strengthened institutions, elevated missions, and built powerful partnerships across healthcare, education, social services, and the arts. Her impact has earned her recognition as one of South Florida’s Most Influential Business Women and a Palm Beach County Ultimate CEO by the South Florida Business Journal.
During her nearly 15-year tenure as Immediate Past President of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation, Jan played a key leadership role in raising more than $500 million to advance healthcare innovation and patient care. She later served as Executive Director for Presidential Initiatives at Florida Atlantic University, working alongside President John Kelly to deepen community engagement and expand the university’s impact.
Today, Jan continues to lead and inspire through her roles as Chair of the FAU Sandler School of Social Work Community Leadership Committee, Honorary Board Member of Hillel of Broward & Palm Beach, Council of National Trustees member at National Jewish Health, and Senior Advisor to Connected Warriors.
We are honored to celebrate Jan Savarick as a true Living Legend.

Laura Waldorf Reiss is a builder. Over nearly two decades, she took a single idea about how people treat one another and grew it into Kindness Matters — an international organization that has mobilized communities and partners across North America, Africa, and beyond, turning belief into funded, on-the-ground impact.
With Kindness Matters thriving under its own leadership, Laura has turned to her second enterprise, Laura Waldorf Reiss International — a platform for her speaking, her ideas, and the founders and leaders she mentors as they build movements and businesses of their own.
A TEDx speaker and trusted voice across countries and cultures, Laura has spent her life proving what becomes possible when people are in real connection — with themselves, with each other, and with what they're setting out to make happen. It's the through-line of everything she's built.
At the HER Health Summit, Laura brings real connection to the centre of women's wellbeing — the capacity to stay with yourself instead of playing saviour for everyone else, and the kind of community that forms when you lead from your surplus instead of your last drop.
